Composition [edit]
"I Got Yous" is a popular[2] and tropical business firm vocal[3] written in the cardinal of A small-scale in common fourth dimension with a tempo of 98 beats per infinitesimal. Most of the vocal follows a chord progression of Am-C-F-Yard-Am. The bridge follows a sequence of F-C-Thou-F-C-G-Dm-Em-F.[4]
Music video [edit]
The video is directed by Dave Meyers. Rexha filmed a music video for the vocal, but it was scrapped due to its explicit content. She told a radio DJ, "It was really too sexual so I had to go rid of it. Information technology was besides much," explaining further, "I have immature fans. I like to be sexy 'cause I'm a woman now, but I still want to be a good role model."[5] Rexha after filmed another version for the song in a desert setting.[6] The music video directed by Dave Meyers debuted on Jan 6, 2017 on Rexha'southward YouTube account and has since reached over 300 million views.[7] [8] [9] The outfits she wore in the music video were compared to those of Kylie Jenner past Billboard.[10]
Live performances [edit]
The singer performed the song for the first fourth dimension at the MTV Europe Music Awards on Nov six, 2016.[11] On Jan 13, 2017, she performed "I Got You" on Skillful Morning America along with her previous single "In the Name of Love".[12] On January sixteen, 2017, she performed "I Got You" on The Tonight Evidence Starring Jimmy Fallon,[13] on February 16, 2017 on Late Night with Seth Meyers, on February 17, 2017 on Live with Kelly and on February 22, 2017 along with the song "Say My Name" originally by Destiny'south Kid on The Tardily Late Evidence with James Corden.[14] [15] [16]
